I’m not going to lie: these are the fanciest packaged vitamins I’ve ever seen. You almost feel beautiful just holding the sleek, black tube-encased glass bottle in your hand! They come in a heavy glass bottle that is packed inside a cardboard tube (which is actually really nice because it prevents light exposure. Vitamins are sensitive to light.) And the company thoughtfully includes two small vitamin bags for on the go dosing (which I use all the time because I’m not always home to take my vitamins at the proper time and the tiny zip bags are great for throwing in a purse, etc.)Now, are these worth the current list price of $75? No. They aren’t.Contents: They have some great stuff not found in other beauty supplements, like marine collagen, allicin (garlic extract), and several potent antioxidants and nutrients (resveratrol, lycopene, astaxanthin, zeaxanthin, etc) but these aren’t in very appreciable amounts to actually affect beauty (or I should say, skin, hair, nails) and the expensive components are buried under a list of basic, cheap vitamins and minerals, not all in the form that is best absorbed by your body. (Also, some of the ingredients mildly counter or inhibit the absorption of others in this product.)Also, for some, the levels of certain minerals in this may be too much or not healthful for daily use, such as the high amount of iodine, manganese, and zinc (which is in it’s cheapest form and not so good for your body to have to process). Many women may be deficient in these minerals but most are not, especially if they are somewhat health conscious and get a varied diet or supplement with other vitamin and mineral products. Too much minerals are no bueno. Iodine is vital for women and things such as thyroid function but you can get too much if you’re supplementing carelessly and this puts stress on your adrenals and other organs because your body cannot flush minerals as easily as many vitamins.Another con is that these are large, hard tablets. I prefer capsules for ease of swallowing, digesting, and absorbing, and also because capsules usually have less junk binders holding all the vitamins together. Fortunately, for tablets, these don’t have too many bad binders or coating, etc. (Inactive ingredients consist of cellulose (plant fiber), stearates, bamboo stem, and glycerin) But these are hard to take and can repeat on you a bit. Dosage is two tablets and you get 60 tablets per bottle putting you at $2.50 for each serving!!!! You could get a lot more nutrients for that price to feed your skin and body for increased beauty through things like powdered collagen and a plant-rich diet! (The collagen in this is miniscule and I would strongly advise using a bulk collagen product incorporated into your actual diet as a food if you want to see skin benefits.)Overall, while these were beautifully packaged and made in the US, I just was underwhelmed by their actual contents and would not recommend them as an effective beauty supplement purchase unless their price was significantly reduced.

I got these supplements for my mom and she didn’t really like them. She wrote:”I don’t think this beauty supplement goes well with me. I can’t tell its effect on my body or energy level. It seems to give me adverse effects once in a while, and I can’t tell if it is a physical reaction or a psychological one. I’m saying that because the longer I take it the more I am annoyed by the name “hush, hush.” It has a good collagen effect, however. Four stars.”
